The Arthurian Order of Avalon (AOA) is a nonprofit, inclusive education and performance group interested in the legends of King Arthur and medieval history. Its members enjoy participating in historically themed events such as tournaments and feasts, as well as performing the Human Chessboard at the Medieval Fair of Norman. The mission of the AOA is to educate its membership and audiences in Arthurian ideals, history, and culture in order to instill, preserve, and promote concepts of chivalry, courtesy, and honor.
