She is a 52-year-old multi-genre cosplayer, crafter, and vendor. She has worked with students of all ages and educational levels as a paraprofessional, and 16 years as a substitute teacher. She experienced great influences in all things geek early in life from her parents exposure of pop culture and more from the 50s though the 80s, in addition to her 20 years as an Air Force brat which includes her time overseas. She loves working with many charities, which blends with her love of cosplay and her crafting abilities. Her favorite things in her 10 years as a cosplayer is about the geek side of the convention and cosplay community parts. Plus seeing the smiling faces of everyone she meets and lifting spirits when she feels a person needs it. She grew up having to struggle with many areas of learning struggles, while being bullied and looked down on for being a military brat. Her biggest strength are her family, Christian beliefs, and the world of being a geek. She turns it into a focus on helping others as best she knows how. Whether it's sharing her love of comics, anime, cosplay, and crafting in many forms or understanding the need for a place to belong, she's there.
