Robb Wetmore is a science-fiction author, futurist, and unapologetic nerd based in Oklahoma City. By day, he serves as Director of Digital Healthcare at a federally qualified health center, working to expand access and rethink how care is delivered at scale. By night, he explores the edges of artificial intelligence, galactic politics, and what it truly means to be human.
His debut novel, The Shadow of Light, launched the Seana Byrne series, followed by Edge of Defiance. He is currently completing the third installment, Crucible of Shadows, while continuing to expand the universe through short fiction. In parallel, his Stellar Reach series—Odyssey One and Aurorae—dives into hard sci-fi territory, blending realistic physics with questions of identity, consciousness, and survival across interstellar space.
Robb’s work is grounded in scientific plausibility but driven by philosophy and character. Drawing on his background in digital health and his fascination with emerging technology, he writes stories that challenge assumptions and explore the consequences of innovation at scale.
Outside of writing, Robb is a frequent speaker on AI, healthcare, and ethics, and can often be found refining a new recipe in the kitchen—approaching both food and fiction with the same mindset: experiment boldly, iterate often, and never settle for the obvious.
